Hello I have just returned to England from Spain and I am about to take up post as a Day Service Officer working in a Day Centre with Adults with Learning Disabilities. I have experience of working with moderate to profound learning disabilities. I would like to say Hi to everyone and look forward to sharing ideas etc . x

  • Gym ball

    My daughter, who has autism, is extremely fidgety. I've bought her a gym ball, which she loves. We keep it in the living room and she bounces and rolls on it pretty much constantly. I recommend one for exercise and keeping out of mischief.

  • Sophie's Smocks

    When my growing granddaughter, who has Angleman's Syndrome, needed larger bibs, I got out my sewing machine. Now I make free smocks for kids with AS using turtlenecks.
