Netbuddy forums are for families, carers, teachers, therapists and other professionals with experience of learning disability.
We hope they will be a useful way to share information and ideas.
These forums are not intended as a source of professional or medical advice and support. Nor do the opinions expressed on the forums necessarily reflect the opinions of Netbuddy.
How to join in
All you need to do to join the forums is fill in a short registration form, with your name and email address, and you’re away.
Remember, this is a public forum and anything posted here may be viewed by a large number of people.
Please consider the content of your post carefully, as you will be fully responsible – and potentially legally liable – for what you write.
Do not post anything confidential, such as contact details or personal information.
Keep it friendly
We want Netbuddy to be a safe and supportive site. Please make sure your messages are respectful of other users’ views and suggestions, even if you don’t agree with them.
Take care to present your views tactfully and remember that humour may be misinterpreted.
Make sure that anything you post is not: • rude, insulting or bullying • likely to provoke or offend other users • racists, sexist, homophobic, ageist or otherwise discriminatory • threatening or harmful • profane, sexually orientated or obscene • unlawful or encourages unlawful activity

Reporting abuse If you feel anyone is not abiding by these guidelines, please ask one of our site champions to intervene.
Netbuddy reserves the right to remove any messages that breach the forum guidelines or this website’s terms and conditions.
We may also ban any forum users who ignore these guidelines.
